This episode covers various events including the Wehrmacht’s continued offensive deep inside Soviet Russia, collaborationist Marshal Pétain’s activities, and more. Some of the episode appears to date to 1941, but other portions may be from 1942 or even later (as there is a splice or two in the film print).

• 7:00: Fishing resumes in Lake Ilmen.

• 7:37: Distribution of winter clothing in a German warehouse.

• 8:01: Importance of the port of Mariupol for transshipment.

• 8:18: Petrovsky steel factory’s role in the war effort.

• 8:33: German mountain hunters march through Stalino.

• 9:27: German infantry continues its march towards Soviet territory.
