“This film was created in 1952 for the State of Colorado Department of Public Relations and was made by

T.E. Nowels, Frank Hoag Jr., Claude A. Leukens, Robert E. Warren (Director), Hal Burdick (Narrator), and

R. B. “Bud” Hooper (Producer, Sonochrome Pictures). The film is a mixture of 16mm color Gevaert Safety

Film and Kodachrome Safety Film prints (acetate) with a variable area optical soundtrack. The film

measures roughly 475 feet in length and has a run time of about 14:00. The film showcases the activities

and pleasantries of attending a Colorado dude ranch. Tourists are shown riding horses, sitting on fences,

and watching a rodeo.”
