This black-and-white film is part 2 of this outstanding documentary by Irving Gitlin about Ernest Hemingway, exploring the life and work of Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961), the American novelist, short-story writer, and journalist. The film is an episode of the American television anthology drama series aired on NBC from 1961-1964 titled “The Dupont Show of the Week”. It’s a McGraw-Hill Films production, presented by NBC News in 1961, and is hosted and narrated by Chester Robert “Chet” Huntley, an American television newscaster for NBC News. The film is produced, directed, and written by Julian Claman, co-produced by David Oppenheim, and edited by Robert Guenette with music by George Kleinsinger. Andrew Duggan voices Hemingway.
