This film “Police the Human Dimension” is one of a series of “Authority Situation” law enforcement officer training films that depict situations of potential abuse of authority by police officers. The film and the others in the series were produced and directed by Eugene N. Smith for the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration U.S. Department of Justice in 1975 in Florida, filmed, and edited by Robert Mesterton, and with camera and sound by Rick Mishaw.

The man reveals that he is chief of police (16:18). The man requests the wife to get in their car (17:16). He threatens to officer with firing him (17:25). The man gets in their car (17:35).
