This 1960 documentary was made by the Shell Film Unit and covers the different benefits of motion picture technology, more specifically that it has revealed things that the human eye would otherwise not be able to see. This includes a short history of pioneering techniques from moving pictures to time lapses and slow motion footage. It also covers how these different techniques have been used over time with applications in medicine, plant growth, and astronomy. The footage is mostly in black and white, and covers a rapid succession of different applications of these filming techniques.
