00:10 “ALL-AMERICAN NEWS” title card. All-American news is an episode of a rare newsreel produced for a Black audience throughout the 1940s and 1950s. The first newsreel of its kind, these films reflected an African-American perspective on world news and were part of an effort to increase Black American participation in and support of World War II.
