Between 1932-34, Paramount Pictures produced a series of short subject films featuring the studio’s stars. This, the fourth episode of “Hollywood on Parade”, features Eddie Borden. Borden plays a postal worker who decides to deliver some mail to some Hollywood stars. He starts at the home of Richard Arlen and his wife Jobyna Ralston. Next, he visits Mary Pickford, and drops off a puppy for her “shipped from China. The two drive to the studio listening to Bing Crosby on KNX radio. Bing makes an appearance at 5:30. Borden then meets up with ill-fated cowboy star Tom Mix. Mix was the star of many early Western movies between 1909 and 1935 — almost 300 total, with all but 9 silent pictures.
