First introduced in 1954, Tareyton began as a filtered variation of Herbert Tareyton cork-tipped, non-filter cigarettes. The cigarette’s filter features a unique two-part design of fiber and activated charcoal. Tareyton is still produced by R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company.
