ABC promo for “That Girl” with Marlo Thomas circa 1970, promoting the fact that it is “in color”. That Girl was developed by writers Bill Persky and Sam Denoff, and ran on ABC from 1966 to 1971. The show centered around an aspiring actress who moves to New York, and takes a number of “temp” jobs in between acting gigs while trying to get her career off the ground. Also starring in the show was Ted Bessell as her boyfriend, her parents played by Lew Parker and Rosemary DeCamp.
