This TV commercial for Toast ‘Em Pop Ups toaster pastries dates to the 1970s and promotes the “juicier” aspect of the product. Toast’em Pop Ups date to 1965; prior to that date they were produced under the name “Country Squares”. Like their rival Pop Tarts, Pop Ups used a special mylar bag process to keep them fresh. In 1971, Post sold the rights to the Schultz and Burch Biscuit Company, which still produces Toast’em Pop Ups today
