This color propaganda ‘scare’ film is about the horrors of the drug heroin. It seems to be reel 1 and is missing its credits and its other reels. It is made circa the late 1960s in England.
No opening credits. A police inspector talks to the camera about a girl who was on heroin. Hippie types sit around smoking pot (:07-1:50). A morgue technician removes the sheet and shows a dead arm that has needle marks. More bodies are shown in the morgue. Men discuss the drug and wander the morgue (1:51-2:42). A guy with a flashlight breaks into the docks. The light illuminates the darkness as the two men walk through the docks, one of the men grabs a book (2:43-4:33). One of the men talks with a woman and they head for a boat (4:34-4:57). Ships in a port. One of the men rides on a boat which then stops at a boat named Anna. He wanders the dock. After walking a bit, he happens upon Marianne, a boat from Amsterdam (4:58-6:08). The same man walks into a cafe. He writes Jinny Duclo (6:09-6:42). The film abruptly ends. No end credits.
