This 1966 Trans World Airlines / TWA promotional film features Thomas McFadden, the Vice President of Marketing, who introduces the company’s new aggressive marketing strategy. This film shows part of the massive publicity push by the company in 1967, when TWA became the first American airline to rely entirely on jet engine aircraft,. Jets including the Boeing 707 are featured extensively in the film. McFadden introduces the core customer base including businessmen, vacationers, and students and shows the plans as to how to advertise to them in the different mediums available. He also focuses on the increasing profitability of the air cargo market. McFadden continuously focuses on the dedicated staff at TWA and how the airline’s extensive route network is a bonus when choosing a carrier.
