Color 1949 (edge code not conclusive but appears to be +) home movie of the Virginia and Truckee Railroad in Nevada. This film has a lot of crowds, and shots of a speech being given, so it quite possibly documents the final trip on the railroad — on May 31, 1950, locomotive no. 27 pulled the Virginia and Truckee’s final train.
