GG3424e 1928 Traverse City Michigan Home Movie, 1932 Chicago World’s Fair

800′, b&w home movie, starts with scenes in Traverse City, Michigan that were apparently shot in 1928-29 era. These are primarily scenes of a boathouse, group of family activities, etc. Film then contains a long segment which appears to be from a Burton Holmes travelogue of the Chicago World’s Fair, with Sally Rand doing a fan dance, scenes from the Paris exhibit, etc. The film then switches to home movie footage of the fair including the Sky Ride, parades of vehicles, etc. Very well shot footage.
