This Soviet film is about 1 hour long, 2000′, and in glorious color. Appears to date to 1980s, possibly 1988. The film has various segments showing highlights of life in the USSR, and essentially no military footage whatsoever. Instead is contains imagery of natural beauty, industrial potential, and leisure activities and areas of national pride such as the space program, hovercrafts, high tech ice breakers and power plants, and supersonic aircraft (the Tupelov is briefly shown). images include Moscow, beach resorts along the Black Sea, and Russians enjoying swimming, ice skating, parachuting, white water rafting, and other activities. Also appears to have some Olympics type footage.
