The Latin American Fiesta Association of Tampa Bay elected a beauty queen and her court — known as “princesses” — and sponsored an exotic trip for them every year. Most of the time, the trips included a visit to Spain, so that contestants of Hispanic descent could learn about their Spanish heritage. This travelogue from 1970 shows the royal group touring Europe through England, France, and Spain, and finally sailing over the Mediterranean Sea to Morocco. The film has photography by Jack Jarvis, edited by Carl Goldman of WFLA TV, narrated by Paul Jones, and the film is processed by Leo Fasil.
