A U.S. Navy training and safety film that in detail covers the procedure a submarine crew would take to make an immediate free breathing emergency bouyant ascent. In other words, how to safely exit a submerged subamrine and get all the crewmembers to the surface without them getting the “bends”. The students train at the Submarine Escape Training Tank (SETT), a 100-foot water tower either at the submarine base, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii or at the submarine base, New London, Connecticut. This is a film that all U.S. submariners watched at some point during their career.
