Shot in the late 1920s or early 1930s, these silent home movies show a trip to Brazil including Rio de Janeiro. There are terrific street scenes beginning about the 5 minute mark, including trams / trolley cars in the streets. It’s remarkable to see a great deal of empty real estate in the vistas of the city, given how developed it is today.
