A man steers an Army tugboat LT-2089. The tug on the water. A flag is raised on the tugboat. The latest audio-visual materials — which appear to be microfilm or slide projector systems — is used by trainees (5:03-7:00). An engine is started in a class. An instructor teaches with hands on experience. Work is performed on an engine as some do and others watch. A man holds a screwdriver and works on an engine (7:01-8:26).
