87904 “CHINA: CENTURY OF REVOLUTION” PART 3: RISE OF COMMUNIST POWER 1941-1967 CIVIL WAR TO PRC

This it the third part of the three-part 1967 documentary “China: Century of Revolution”. This episode is titled, “Rise of Communist Power 1941-1967”. The program was adapted from “China: The Roots of Madness” and directed by Mel Stuart and Theodore Harold White and produced by Wolper Productions for the Encyclopedia Britannica Corporation. The film describes, through interviews and memoir quotes of various figures, such as Chiang Kai-Shek, Gen Joseph Stilwell, Zhu De, Mao Zedong, Brig. Gen. Frank Dorn, T.H. White, the events of the Nationalist-Communist Civil War, from 1937 onwards, which led to the evacuation of the the ROC to Taiwan and PRC ruling the Chinese mainland.
