The purpose of the film is to educate US Navy pilots on taxiing and take-offs in their aircraft. The instructor takes a model plane on his desk and imitates a takeoff and a landing 1:00. On the tarmac, plane runs its propeller 1:30. An animation shows a pilot in the cockpit 1:40. The plane captain waves the pilot out onto the runway 2:40. The plane captain directs the pilot with hand signals 3:00. An officer speaks to a pilot 4:00. The pilot is getting reprimanded for safety violations 4:30. Man washes a plane 5:30. The movie returns to the man in the classroom in front of the blackboard 5:41.
