Mountains in the distance with a town below. Castle on a hill. Lake and trees. The Rhine river flows and creates Lake Constance, a border between Germany and Switzerland. The water flows around rocks. A train goes over a bridge (:47-1:38). The canton of Bern is the second-largest of the 26 Swiss cantons by both surface area and population. Located in west-central Switzerland, it borders the canton of Jura and the canton of Solothurn to the north. The farmland in Bern is among the richest in the country. A man walks near cattle. Farmhouses. A car drives by. City of Bern – shops, people, buildings, a clock tower. A clock with bears on it. A bear pit where bears sit and play. Tourists and locals (1:39-3:21). Appenzell is close to Germany. A man from Appenzell wears a hat. A church. Women in costume. The buildings look like they are out of a fairy tale. Ticino is in southern Switzerland. Mountains, buildings. People get out of boats. St. Moritz is a luxury alpine resort town in Switzerland’s Engadin valley. A car drives. Tall mountains. Car drives through a tunnel. Snow capped mountains (3:22-5:28). A woman feeds animals on a mountaintop. Lake Geneva, a couple looks over the city. Women look at a river. A castle on the river’s edge (5:29-6:36). Lake Geneva. People walk around. People play instruments as people eat and sit. Cars, bikes, buses, Geneva is a city of charm. United Nations has a building there. A fountain sprays streams of water (6:37-7:56). Couples play golf. A woman takes a golf lesson. A woman swings her club. People swim in an outdoor pool. A woman stands on a diving board. Children roughhouse one another. Volleyball game. Two people ride horses (7:57-9:10). Lucerne is a canton in central Switzerland, known for museums, lakes and peaks such as Mount Pilatus and Rigi. Cars drive near Lucerne’s downtown. Children play. A traffic cop. Marketplace. Boats float on calm waters. People sit on the beach.Children walk. Boat for tourists, people stand and look off the sides of the boat at the beauty of Switzerland (9:11-11:40). Mount Pilatus has a railway to reach its peak. People walk around Mount Pilatus. A hotel is on the summit of Mount Pilatus. Tourists talk and sit. Mountaintop peak (11:41-12:31). End credits (12:32-12:38).
