Battle of the Atlantic, 1939-1941 The opening episode in this story of naval conflict in World War II covers the anti-U Boat campaign from 1939-41. A series of 26 Dramatic and Authentic films about Sea Warfare during World War-2 (1939-43). Produced by NBC and the U.S. Navy with the assistance of the Admiralty and the Air Ministry, and using film obtained from both allied and enemy sources.

But it is restrained by the British thanks to the vital convoys, Canadian and American naval forces’ initial involvement and the Lend-Lease program.
