83644 VIETNAM WAR COMBAT DAILIES HELICOPTER AIR CAVALRY

This silent film, combat dailies from the Vietnam War, starts with shots of African American and white G.I.’s at a base. At 1:00 a fleet of Huey helicopters takes off from a dike on a mission. At 2:00 soldiers stand around the base. At 3:15 the helicopters return from their mission. At 3:34 air-to-air footage of the Hueys flying over the jungle. At 4:00 American G.I.s are seen in a rice paddy. At 5:00 a village is shown with children at 5:13. At 5:27 an American G.I. feeds a child some of his rations. 6:08, patrol continues through the rice paddies. At 6:30, shots out of a Huey show American troops in the field. At 7:00 troops walk through deep mud.
