A chuck wagon is seen at the 1:40 mark. At the 1:48 mark, a guest ranch is seen where “city folk” can experience Western life. A private airport is seen where aircraft bring celebrities and guests to a dude ranch, and a Hollywood Western movie is seen being shot at the 2:22 mark. A classic hay ride is seen at the 2:50 mark, and a singing cowboy. Horseback riding is seen at the 3:45 mark. A bonfire is seen at the 5:00 mark, with the “romance of the Western range” epitomized by a kissing couple. A wedding is seen at the 5:30 mark.
The location of this guest ranch is not known but several large ones still exist in Texas including the Silver Spur Guest Ranch, the Mayan Dude Ranch, and the Dixie Dude Ranch.
