75914 NORWAY, LONDON & PARIS FRANCE 1950s TRAVELOGUE (sound)

Here are two short travelogues from the 1950s, both fragmentary. The first film shows images of the Royal Guard in London, England as well as a trip to Stratford-on-Avon and Anne Hathaway’s cottage. The travelers then take a trip across the English Channel by ferry to France, where they visit the Eiffel Tower. The second film begins around the 3 minute mark and shows Norway in the 1950s, with its hard working farmers and fishermen. Hydropower is seen at the 5:45 mark, and shipbuilding at the 6:15 mark. The modern city of Oslo is seen at the 7 minute mark, with its Royal Palace. Bergen is seen at the 8 minute mark with its busy port and fish market.
