This 1930s silent German educational film shows the manufacture of clay dishes, pitchers and other kitchen items. The entire process is shown from the harvesting and preparation of clay, to the use of a potter’s wheel to create shapes, glazing, firing in a kiln, and final painting of the items to produce a finished piece.
