Made in the 1940s by the Castle Film Company, “Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon” is a wonderful (albeit silent) color travelogue of these important National Parks that features classic imagery. It includes shots of the Hotel El Escalante and other tourist landmarks as well as the stunning natural features. Many of the color vistas seen in the film are reminiscent of Hollywood westerns of this era, and for obvious reasons.
