Written by Clint Comerford and directed by Austin Green, and with a score by John Bath, this Southern Arizona travelogue “Hank Goes Fishing” features venerable character actor Lindsay Workman, Richard Reeves and Tom Myers. The film takes viewers on an eccentric Model T Ford tour of Southern Arizona including Tucson. At 1:46 is the San Xavier Mission and a painted burro (3:17) set up for photography. Parts of the Tohono-Odham (aka Papago ) reservation are also shown. At 4:24 are shots of Nogales, Mexico and Nogales, Arizona as well as the border (4:41). There are great street scenes in Nogales at 4:58 including various local businesses such as Maya de Mexico, the Red Horse, Via Veneto, and more. A Mariachi type band plays at 6:15. At 9:17 Hank arrives in Tombstone where you will see the famous Boot Hill Cemetery (10:50), the Birdcage Theater and the O.K. Corral. At 10:37 a gunfight for tourists is staged. At 12:12 is an aerial of Douglas, Arizona including the huge copper smelter. At 17:19 Rex Allen Days are celebrated in Willcox, Arizona. At 18:52 the Model T Ford drives through a pine forest.At 20:17 the Roosevelt Dam is shown on the Salt River. At 21:14 the Pima Plaza shopping area in old town Scottsdale is shown including Lulu Belle’s Restaurant at 23:57. At 24:45 a dude ranch hotel with a swimming pool and sunbathers is shown along with horse riders. At 25:20 Wickenburg is shown including at 25:35 the Route 66 main street. More horseback riding is shown at 26:52. At 28:34 square dancing is shown at a western hoe down. At 29:15 is an aerial view of Yuma on the Colorado River. At 29:29 the territorial prison is seen.

C. Lindsay Workman was a character and voice actor who had a career in film and television that started in the 1950s and continued until the early 1990s. He has over 100 credits. One of his earliest roles was in the television series, Blondie, playing the part of Mr. Knapp in the episode “Howdy Neighbor” in 1957. Also that year, he appeared in the series Sergeant Preston of the Yukon,

In the late 1960s, he had a reoccurring role as Reverend Adams in Here Come the Brides. During the 1970s, he had a reoccurring role in the series Julia as Otto Brockmeyer. He had a part in the Paul Wendkos made-for-television film, The Five of Me which was released in 1981.Workman was seen on such programs as Perry Mason, Bonanza, Bewitched, The Donna Reed Show, The Twilight Zone, The Brady Bunch, The Partridge Family, Here Come the Brides, Police Woman, Owen Marshall and The Young and the Restless.
