This color tourist promotional film wasproduced in the early 1950s.. The film was produced and copyrighted by American born Andre de la Varre, who became a leading travelogue filmmaker of short films. In the 1930’s, Andre de la Varre created a short film series called “Screen Traveler”, of which this is one. In the 1950’s, his films enjoyed a second life as educational material, being reissued and updated for copyright in 1951. The film was narrated by “The Voice of Air France”. It is a tour of North Africa.
