Pan AM Hawaiian Paradise is a color promotional for Hawaii, made to promote a Gibson air conditioner salesman convention. The film was created in 1959 to promote a trip in 1960. Gibson is the creator of the Gibson Air Conditioner, now Gibson HVAC. The film was prepared for Gibson by Pan American World Airways, founded in 1927. The film tells what Gibson Dealers could experience if they sign up for the Hawaii trip.

The film opens with views of the Hawaiian shoreline (0:16-0:53), and surfers in the ocean (0:54-1:12). Pan AM is an American flag ship, in other words the airlines is registered in one area but able to fly internationally (2:43-2:51). Aerial views of the Hawaiian Islands and Oahu are shown (2:52-4:06). A Pan Am Clipper ship, or the Boeing DC-8, lands (4:07-4:52). A Pan Am Boeing 707 aircraft (4:57-5:43). A Douglas DC-4, four-engine, propeller-driven, aircraft (5:44-5:49). Hula dancers (5:50-5:57). Giving of Lei’s, flower garlands, to the passengers (5:58-6:23). Hula dancers (6:48-7:18).
