This 1950s color travelogue about Corsica, France was produced by Les Films Du Sagittaire and narrated by Alan Adair. The camera pans Corsica, an island in the Mediterranean Sea (1:05-1:40). Two cats wait on the dock and a fisherman hands out a metal bucket of fish. Tables of fish are at a marketplace in Bastia (1:41-2:08). A girl walks down a narrow street and a group of boys fight (2:25-2:39). The camera pans across sailboats to the Church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste (2:50-3:05). A car is unloaded from the Sampiero Dorso (3:19-3:55). Goats are herded down a road shared with cars (3:58-4:13). A stream runs downhill through up-close rocks (4:26-4:35). A close-up of a prickly pear cactus is expanded to show the beach framed by cacti (4:58-5:05). Stone steps lead up a hill terraced with stone walls to ruins. Corte remains high on its cliff (5:07-6:30). Stoney hills and valleys are shown, including that of Sardinia Regina, where red splashes on the stones mark the trail (6:31-6:48). An outcropping of mountains rises up (6:52). A stream is shown up-close running over white rocks and under arched bridges (6:55-7:15). A religious procession passes by with a cross of Jesus. Participants are shown walking barefoot (7:25-8:00). Donkeys are shown at a country fair (8:20-8:35). A Corrino LX passes a horse cart (8:45-8:57). Suitcases belonging to an elderly woman dressed all in black, including a head scarf, are unloaded from the cart, and she boards an Air France Breguet Deux-Ponts 763 (F-BASY) with other women (8:58-9:24). A diesel train is seen in the distance, passing cypress trees (9:25-9:39). A cemetery is shown (9:40-9:52). The train approaches Ajaccio, birthplace of Napoleon (10:15-10:30). Close-ups are shown of the ocean whitecaps among the rocks at the Sanguinary Islands (10:40-10:58). Spreading chestnut trees, parasol pines, and twisted trees are shown through the mist (11:25-12:15). A large family of domestic pigs are free to roam the hills until winter (12:15-12:33). A rainbow is faintly seen with the Corsican Mountains as a backdrop (12:50). The cliffs at Bonifacio are chalky white with an ancient citadel overlooking the sea (13:22-14:20). The Cove of Piana has rocks that resemble people and animals (14:21-14:47). Mist magically rises from the ocean at Porto (15:16). An ancient watchtower is seen on the crag (15:26). The camera pans the buildings on Corsica (15:44-15:59). The light plays on a staircase surrounded by walls and two girls sit with their backs to us, as though in a painting (16:01). The bells ring at the 16th century church of Eglise St. Martin in Patrimonio (16:47-16:56). Purple grape bunches are shown up close in the vineyards there. Teenagers gather grapes into baskets, which some carry on their heads (16:57-17:32). A man accompanies a donkey carrying packs of bundled sticks down a mountain road (17:42-17:52). Two boys lead a loaded donkey up a steep stone village road (18:10-18:18). Two men relax with their dogs in front of a burning fireplace (18:35-18:41). A round stone dock has boats anchored at it (19:23).
