This 16mm silent home movie dates to the late 1920s or early 1930s. The film includes professionally shot material in addition to the amateur-shot content (probably the person who made this film purchased a commercial travelogue as a souvenir and edited in his own footage). The film portrays the beauty of Kauai’s nature and some of the island’s attractions, such as the Barking Sands and the Spouting Horn. The film is mainly black-and-white with certain scenes in sepia.
