This late 1940s or early 1950s home movie begins in Sells, Arizona, the capital of the Tohono O’odham Nation and the home of several of their tribal businesses.

Sign for “Sells – Papago Indian Rodeo” (:08). Cars parked outside (:15). Children drink, women on the move, vendors with their wares (:29). Outside the rodeo are amusement rides like the ferris wheel (:46). People lined up (1:26). People eating (1:37). Members of the Tohono O’odham sitting in bleacher seats waiting for the rodeo to begin (2:17). Rodeo has begun with a horse procession (2:53). Riders lining up (3:20). Man rides a white horse (3:30). Two horsemen run down a steer (3:52). A horseman runs down a steer and lassos him (4:11). Man ties up a steer (4:23). Man rides a bucking bronco (4:35). More men ride wild horses (4:44). A man runs and seems to be flipping a horseshoe into the air (4:58). A man grabs a steer and ties him up (5:32). Rodeo on wild horses continues (5:54). Native American dance (6:26). Native American parade (6:36). People sit in the bleacher seats and watch (7:17). A marching band and cowboys in a parade in Tucson, AZ (7:33). Parade float (8:40). Horse and buggies in the parade (8:57). Man in white on a horse; marching band; comedic person dressed up (9:34). The San Carlos Cafe in the background at 9:45 was located on 153 North Stone Avenue. Children in a jail wagon (10:12). Many wagons are pulled through the parade (10:24). Marching band (10:55). Women on horseback (11:40). Tiny puppies pull a tiny covered wagon (12:08). A Tucson or Bust float (12:25). Cowboys (12:53). A giant tucson hat (13:02). Cowboys, marching bands, women in the parade (13:20). Cowboys and cowgirls on horses in the parade (14:00). A rabbit costumed person on a horse in the parade (14:25).
