This silent, color home movie shows a visit to a carnival as well as Disneyland in Anaheim, California, most likely in the late 1950s.

The film begins at a carnival attraction, possibly located at the Los Angeles Farmer’s Market. A woman and some children on the carousel (:00). Little girls ride in the Ferris Wheel (kiddie version) (:13). A little girl rides in a rocket ship ride that goes round and round (:37). A little girl rides a pony (:49). At 1:55, the film switches to Disneyland, where a little girl and boy wave at the camera, their mother behind them. It appears they’re in Storybookland (1:47). A train ride for children, the Casey Jr. Circus Train, goes by (2:31). Tea cup ride (2:36). Mark Twain Riverboat attraction (2:46). Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes (3:28). Actors play Native Americans who interact with the tourists (3:40). Walking around DIsneyland (4:20). Passing by the Golden Horseshoe Restaurant in Frontierland (5:05). In front of the Frontier Trading Post (5:21). Main Street Trolley (6:09). Disneyland Double-decker Bus Transportation (6:32). Disneyland Band (6:39). In Tomorrowland, standing in front of the TWA Rocket to the Moon, Moonliner (6:45). Richfield Skyway sky ride (7:22). Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle (7:54). A boy sits in the race car in the Tomorrowland Speedway (8:03). A boy goes around the track in the car while the sky ride is above him (8:11). People get into and out of their cars at the Tomorrowland Speedway / Autopia (8:25).
