This silent home movie shows the 1951 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California, as well as a parade in nearby Arcadia, California. This was the 62nd annual parade. Portions of the film are underexposed but if you skip to about 7:45 you can see some interesting sights — including floats, girl scout troops marching, men on horseback, and more. The segment at 25:54 shows the “Chicken in the Rough” restaurant — an Arcadia eatery that was very popular in that era.
