Although heavily damaged, this silent 16mm home movie has historical value. It was brought home by an American G.I. after WWII, and shows the activities of a German Luftwaffe staff officer in Occupied France in 1941. The film starts with shots of a staff car and various officers conferring. At 1:05 a roadside points the way to Rouen. At 1:20 Rouen Cathedral is shown. At 2:10 a soldier poses for the camera. At 2:13 a large contingent of Germans lines the road and a group shoulders their rifles and walks past camera. At 2:38 a casket is shown and the members of the Luftwaffe gather around for the burial of what was likely a fellow pilot. At 3:22 boars are shown lined up, presumably after a successful hunt.
