This rare film celebrates the fifty year anniversary of US Naval Aviation, and features F. Trubee Davison, who was among the group known as the Yale Millionaires Unit, the first naval aviators to deploy in to combat during World War I. The film has rare images of a reunion of the members of this unit at Davison’s home. Davison was wheelchair bound after an accident occurred while he was trying to qualify for his Naval Aviators wings. A tragedy for which he nevertheless did not let stand in the way of a very successful career, in which he became the Director of Personnel for the Central Intelligence Agency.
