Part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQienerwC2Q

NOTE: IF YOU ARE COMING FROM PART 1, START AT TIMECODE 14:28

More than 13,000 men were killed during WWII era flight training. “Learn and Live with Joe Instructor” was an attempt to lower the number of losses, by emphasizing to pilots how to fly safely, and not give into the urge or temptation to hot dog, show off or not pay attention in the sky.

In part 2, a flight instructor visits Pilot Heaven and has a discussion with an angel about a large number of pilots that have died and gone to heaven due to avoidable reasons. The flight instructor and the angel look at several cases of pilots that have died due to their own negligence. These cases include not reporting damages, allowing your instruments to freeze over, not checking flight information like weather, and doing irresponsible things like acrobatics at low altitudes. The film uses humor to convey the central message that pilots and aircraft are needed for war and therefore should not be lost due to negligence and that lives can be saved when you learn.
