33474 1930s WILD WEST JULY 4th PARADE GLOBE, ARIZONA HOME MOVIE w/ APACHE INDIANS (SILENT)

This fascinating black & white home movie features a 4th of July parade in Globe, Arizona, as well as some desert (!) golfing. The images of Globe are especially interesting as they show a diverse vision of the West — if you look you’ll see Native Americans and African Americans in the footage. This is circa the late 1920s or early 1930s. Globe is a city in Gila County, Arizona that was founded c. 1875 as a mining camp. The Old Dominion mine was the principal copper producer in the Globe District.
