A short collection of home movies from the 1940s, this reel shows a Kodachrome rainbow, and the happy childhoods of a few boys who play at the beach, and dress up as Indians. The second half of the film features a family in the 1930s on retreat, with lots of smiles and kisses to share.
Film starts with a handheld shot of a rainbow. Then it shows kids sliding down a slide into a pool, kids with a tractor pedal car, kids at the beach playing with sand toys. Next, kids in winter clothes and St. Patrick’s Day hats pose in front of a car. Then, kids wearing indian headdresses sit in a toy teepee. The film then shows kids on bikes pulling a wagon. The second half of the film is in b&w and probably dates to the late 1930s. It shows men and women posing, features some on-camera kisses! Towards the end of the film, the family is shown on a motor launch.
