Made in 1957, Transportation By Air is an educational film that is chock-full of wonderful vintage aviation images. Some of the planes featured include the prototype Boeing 707 jet, Lockheed Constellation, and other propeller driven aircraft. There is also footage of helicopters, the Martin Mariner flying boat / seaplane, and other “cutting edge” craft. It’s a trip back in time to an era where aviation’s advance was as fast as it was relentless.
