31890 WORLD WAR II HOME MOVIES BURMA, FLYING THE HUMP & 8th AIR FORCE IN CHINA

This 8mm home movie was shot by an airman stationed in China during WWII. It begins with a flight over “the Hump” from Burma into China. At 2:15 a small town or village main street is seen. Some rural scenes are shown following including at 7:00 someone fishing in a lake. At 10:30 local women are seen washing in the same lake. At 12:00 international flags are seen waving an a Chinese New Year celebration complete with dragon is shown underway. At 14:20 a loom is shown.
