This film, “The Doughboys Come Home,” is a chapter from the “The Golden Twenties” series and focuses on the America that the “Doughboys” returned to after World War I and the many societal changes that were occuring at the time. The name “Doughboys” became the nickname for the troops of General John Pershing’s American Expeditionary Forces who fought on the Western Front in WWI. This film was presented by Blackhawk Films and produced by Richard DeRehemont. It was adapted from the March of Time Feature Production.
