Made just prior to World War II (WWII), this film profiles the Submarine Training School at New London Conneticut. Features footage of new recruits being trained to join the “silent service”. Submarines picture are the R4 (R-4) and R11 (R-11) boats, which were both R-1 class diesel submarines.
