Here are two films produced by Chevrolet in 1974-1975. The first, “Lasting Value”, was intended to be used as both a sales promotion tool, and a training film for salesmen. The movie emphasizes the value you get when buying a Chevrolet truck. (Some of the subtext of the film is doubtless the gas crunch, which hit the American consumer hard in this era.) The second film “1975 Chevy Pickups Lasting Value” starts at 9:30.
The movie opens with A. T. Olson, an assistant general sales manager for Chevrolet, speaking to the camera. A Chevy slogan; “Economy and Value Started with Chevy Trucks a Long Time Ago” 1:42.
