This color travel film is about the country of Spain and flying Iberia Airlines to get there. There is no copyright but based on research this is circa the late 1960s/early 1970s. It is narrated by Ricardo Montalbán.

Opening: sun in the distance, castle walls, sheep walk down a street, windmills move, an altar boy rings a church bell on its roof, a priest walks by, a Spanish castle. This is Spain. An atomic powerplant shares the view with a statue of Columbus, facing the water. A man rides a donkey as trucks go down a street. Oxen, camels.A young boy, an older woman. A painting of the Virgin Mary. A fountain near a building. Close on an airplane wheel going down the runway. A jumbo jet takes off into the sky. The wheels disappear into the jet’s undercarriage. Title: Iberia: Air Lines of Spain presents “To Catch a Dream” (:08-2:59). An Iberia jumbo jet flies in the sky. Interior cockpit shot. A stewardess pours drinks and ample food is shown on the plane. Cockpit shot of plane coming in for a landing in Madrid. Buildings, cars drive down its streets. Apartments, quaint streets, sidewalk cafes. Statues and fountains (3:00-5:02). Spanish watchtower built in the 13th century. Valleys where animals roam. A man skis down a hill. Nearby is the city of Segovia. Its iconic ancient Roman aqueduct has more than 118 arches stands above Plaza Azoguejo. A 15th century cathedral. Nearby is Ávila, a city in the rolling hill country northwest of Madrid. Known for its medieval city walls, with 80-plus crenelated, semicircular towers and 9 gates. Interiors of the majestic cathedral (5:03-8:27). Water fall. A stream passes under a bridge. Horses graze. The city of Toledo, its an ancient city set on a hill above the plains of Castilla-La Mancha in central Spain. A couple has lunch. Barcelona harbor. Boats float in the harbor. An airtram takes people over the harbor. Aerial shots of boats. Women repair a fishing net (8:28-10:19). A fountain. Dew falls in a forest. A palm tree near a church. A giant cathedral, the ‘Basilica of the Holy Family’, also known as the Sagrada Família, is a large unfinished Roman Catholic minor basilica in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Glass blowing. The glass is heated in a small furnace.Fountains flow (10:20-12:27). A bell rings. Festival day. People in costumes and on horseback. Women and men dance. Wine tasting. Barrels of wines surround the workers. All types of wines are poured from these barrels. A man tastes wine from a glass. Wine is poured and tasted. A grapevine. A man rides a horse. Fighting bulls on the plains are raised for the ring. One wild bull tries goring a man’s horse while he’s on it. A bullfighting pamphlet (12:28-15:20). Matadors ride horses in the arena. A man rides his horse near the bull. A matador pulls his cape as the bull goes through it.

Aerial shot of Seville. Seville is the capital of southern Spain’s Andalusia region. Major landmarks include the ornate Alcázar castle complex, built during the Moorish Almohad dynasty. People walk the streets of Seville. Cars go by. The Gothic Seville Cathedral is the site of Christopher Columbus’s tomb. A family walk down a dirt road and wave at a passing bus. Málaga is a port city on southern Spain’s Costa del Sol, known for its high-rise hotels and resorts jutting up from yellow-sand beaches (16:24-20:20). Iberia airplane tailwing. The airline takes off to the canary islands of Spain. Tenerife, the largest island, is dominated by the sometimes-snowy active volcano Mt. Teide, its surface looks like that of the moon in certain spots. A tourbus drives down a street. Tourists walk around the rocky rocks. The plane flies to the Island of Majorca, which is one of Spain’s Balearic Islands. The plane on the runway. Modern apartments and hotels. Beachgoers by the Mediterranean sea. A person waterskis. Aerial shots of a castle. The streets of Palma with paintings for sale. Lots of windmills (20:21-24:03). A person wears an odd mask and costume. People dance as older men play instruments. Women dancing ‘kill’ the masked odd man as part of a ritual. Nearby village of Petra. A jumbo jet takes off into the sky. A man is pulled in his wagon by a donkey. Spanish aerial shots.
